If you like to go out and party with your friends and Ballermann's night life in Palma is too crazy for you, Cala Ratjada is the place.
Cala Ratjada is a small village with a population of 2500. It has a nice boardwalk with a lot of fine pubs, restaurants and cafes. You can spend hours just sitting there and watching while enjoying a cold drink. There are some nice clubs in the center of town, like the Chocolate, which has been the must-go club for 25 years now.
If you're tired from partying, you can do the usual sightseeing tours, like going to the famous caves called Cuevas del Drach in Porto Cristo which is close to town, or going west to the Cap de Formentor. You might consider renting a motorcycle to go up north west to Cap de Formentor. They have very nice curvy roads there, it's big fun with the bike! Landscape reminded me of Southern California hills.
But if you're the typical Cala Ratjada tourist, you most likely won't go anywhere else during your stay... ;-)
