Arrival of the Italian

Having spent 7 years in Italy, I have quite a few Italian friends, but for the first time since moving back home in July 2007 one of them has taken up my invitation to visit. Angelo touched down in Shannon airport in a t-shirt and by the time we set off from the airport he was wearing a t-shirt, 2 log-sleeve tops, a hoody and a jacket. Just because it's summer in Italy DOES NOT mean it's summer in Ireland!!
I got the boy home, kicked open the sofabed and let him sleep off the jet-lag from his 2 hour(!!!!!) flight. When he came to a few hours later we started to plan the 6 day journey that would prove to all that there is more to Ireland than sheep........
