on the way back to ko chang

Ko Chang 20th - 27th april

This part of the journey is where Charleigh and I went our seperate ways. While Charleigh continued on to see Loas and Pattaya my decision was to go back and stay in Ko chang for the last week of the trip; A decision I later came to regret in more ways than One. As I bid Charleigh goodbye she asked ''are you sure you don't want to come with me... you'll regret it if you don't'' ... ''nah Im ok thanks I'll stay in ko Chang'' ... (little did I know) I think my decision was made because it was my first real travel/backpacking experience and I think I very much got thrown in at the deep end so to speak and I just needed some calm ... but knowing what I know now and another year on I wouldn't miss an opportunity like that in a hurry again hehe.

So back to 15 palms I went I had a nice week in general until disaster struck. Im not going to go in to the ins and outs .... but all I will say is this .... A tourist sees what he wants to see... A traveller sees what he see's ... (I remembered a quote similar to this one this week) This trip and my first real travel experience and taught me alot but that one lesson in particular stays in my mind and will do for all future travels !
