We drove for what seemed like an hour... but lack of sleep and those crazy highways made it worse. But i did get my photo shots in, although they may not be perfect like you TBers out there are useful - they do serve the purpose.
Alas we made it back to Lord Mike's palace... I adored his futon so much, I had to lay in it and just close my eyes and get the full experience... what seemed like minutes later I woke up and decided it was about that time to grab something to eat!! Walking about 2 blocks I could see why he lived here, it was just one of those mini-communities that everyone knows everyone.
Now time for some sight seeing... see this is something I am not huge on... YEAH YEAH, i know - going all this way you have to see something. But as I told Mike, i really don't care! Buildings come up, buildings come down - its nice to soak in the environment and take in what the place has to offer. But real memories (i think) come from the relationships formed, rather than anything else. Hence... I would remember the good times during the "how drunk were we last night", rather than just heading up to the local landmark and taking a photo.
So not having any clear destination we went driving around... where exactly you ask? I honestly have no clue.
Back to the hotel to get some shut eye...
So apparently tonight had a place called DinkyTown - local university hangouts! Betsy had another agenda though, she had to hit up her old stomping ground called Moose Country.. but I had to roll with my homies... = )
Knowing that I haven't really ate anything I figured it was a good idea to grab something small defore the jagerbomb jousting would continue. Pizza it was, just one of those places with good pizza sold by the slice. The highlight there was having mike walk from one end of the place to the other for a napkin - just gettting into peoples way and upsetting people. Then him coming back and seeing a napkin holding right behind him... priceless.
Off to Blarneys... typical college hangout spot with all the kids and cheap beer... sadly the jager did not compare to the night before - more sugary than anything else... so we made a group decision and headed off to join Betsy at the Moose Country...
WAY BETTER and a beautiful waitress who played me like a violin...
