I arrived late one night and was staying at a hostel just a block away from the beach. When I checked in I signed up to do a South Shore trip they offered at the backpackers the following day. It was only $15 and about 15 of us got driven in a van and got taken to lookouts and different beaches. It was a very laid back tour which was great. None of us had to be back for anything that night so the tour guide/driver kept taking us around. Very good and especially for only $15! When we got back I went and explored all the markets etc. I couldn't believe how cheap everything was! The next morning I checked out as I had a flight back to Australia at midnight. I kept my bags at the hostel and explored the streets during the day and just enjoyed the beaches. Watched the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen! I would love to get back to Hawaii as there is so much I wanna see. It was good to get a bit of a taste of it though.
