I will return soon.....key west, a fond farewell

So this is Sunday. A day to wake up, get ready, pack, do last minute shopping (not necessarily in this order).
I am so busy trying to get everything in order. Yet, I still have so much to do. I still want to see the southern most point or at least so they say. I still want to go to Kino Sandals and see what is so great.
I get to what is called Jackson Square....the locals say there is no Jackson on the island. It turns out that Jackson Square is the courthouse (beautiful red brick building) and a really old tree. On Key West, it is typical to build around the tree rather than cut it down.
Then off to Kino. Found out that Kino is closed on Sundays seasonally (so pretty much which ever Sundays they please).
Then it is getting late. I don't want to leave to late. The speed limit is lowered even more at night, so pretty much need to get on the road. I decide to go to the southern most point, hoping to catch a glimpse of Cuba. No luck.
So now, I am on my way. BTW....there is a naval base right near the southern most point.
Stop for a bite of the famous McDonald's. I really should have had some real Key West cuisine before leaving.
I will return soon, I am thinking while driving towards Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
I threw in some other pictures from the land of Key West.
