Sunday May 3

Still in Niagara Falls, first have to find a cup of coffee or I will not wake up. We already have seen enough of Niagara, there are only amusements parks and a lot of touristic awful attractions.

Nothing fancy for us. We felt sorry what they have done to the beautiful river and the surrounding of it. This should be banned out! Therefore we drove to Niagara on the Falls, a small town about 10 miles from the falls. The road to it was very nice, but of course we drove to far. We did not recognize the beautiful town!! Ha ha,  we think of a special town with a lot of little streets. But it was just a main street, although the buildings were very nice. It is a city like in old movies, with wooden houses. We drove so far that we reached lake Ontario. And our tom tom pointed us to a very different direction. Oh we have seen a lot of the surrounding, driving for miles. Normally in august and September you will see a lot of grapes, but now everything was bold! In this area they make a special wine. Ice wine. They harvest the grapes in January after the frost had covered the grapes. By the way Ice wine is very expensive. A small bottle will be about 20$. We finally were back were we entered the city. Now we had to find a place to  park our car. And there is a parking place. You have to pay for it, so be sure you have coins with you. In this street there are a few nice shops, clothes, soap, wine, for 10$ you can taste several wines. And a few restaurants. The one with the veranda was for us an option to sit, because the weather was very nice.
So we ordered some bread and salad. But we waited and waited. It seemed that they had forgotten us. And yes it was true. It was so very busy out there, and the servants did not work efficiently.

Time to go back to Niagara, just before Niagara there is a place where you can book a helicopter tour. I was curious about the cost and the time so we went in for a quick look. This tour takes 9 minutes and the costs are 120$ per person. Because we did not feel to spent so much money for such a short time we went off again.

Now we had to find a midget golf track, because my son had seen this one. But where is it exactly? After driving in Niagara for a while we found it. Putters Ball. An expensive not worth it midget golf track. Ok, Mitchell does not have a holiday unless he played midget golf once. And of course he won! Back to the hotel, and then to table rock by daylight. We decided to eat in the restaurant at table rock. The dinner was not that well. The view was amazing. To finish the day stop again at Starbucks.
