Ixtapa Zihuatanejo beach

Ixtapa Zihuatanejo is a famous tourist destination in Mexico. Located in the Pacific Ocean in the state of Guerrero, near Acapulco. Ixtapa is a resort and Zihuatanejo is a nice and traditional village, where you can buy handycrafts,  taste traditional food and take a tour through the streets. It has beautiful beaches and a warm friendly atmosphere to relax or enjoy water activities like diving,surfing and sport fishing. At certain times of year you can see the nesting and birth of the turtles, especially the hawksbill. There are many hotels in Ixtapa, the one in the photo is the Barceló, where I stayed.
