Reichstag Dome

In the fall semester of 2005 I had the chance to live in Valbonne, France while I was studying. It was this that gave me my jumpstart in travelling. The chance to have a place I could come back to while I was in Europe made much easier for me to travel the continent pretty much every weeked. Not only did I visit some cities outside France, but I also got the chance to visit some nice French cities and towns along the way. Evidently Paris was at the top ofthe list.

The reichstag and its dome are definately one of must-see things in Berlin. When you go to the BRandenburg Gate, you can see this shiny dome/cupola, which looks as if it was all made out of glass, sitting at the top of the Reichstag building and looking al pretty at the side of the waving German flag.

It is a viewing plataform where you can see both, a panoramic view of the city and also have a look at a little part of the inside of the building. You'll probably have to wait in line for some time, but it is definately worth the wait. Once you get past security and into the elevator, you'll be ejoying yourself while walking around the dome and on the way up.

Like the other guy said, you'll have to wait outside for a while, but once you get inside it is only a matter of getting through security.
