Another trial: Meppel to Ruinewold and back another way
Today Reagan and I decided to make use of the good weather and ride our bikes to the IJsboerderij (ice cream farm) in Ruinerwold. It was warm enough but not really sunny which suited me fine, I get sunburnt quite easily. We rode the 7 kilometers approx to the farm with one short stop in Ruinerwold. There we had a drink and a snack and I took some pictures of the Town Hall.
At the IJsboerderij we spent a good few hours enjoying ourselves, Reagan mostly in the playground and with a kitten that was walking around, and me reading although I will also admit to jumping on a big jumping bubble (no idea what it's called, it's basically an air filled bubble in the ground, see pics). Of course Reagan had to have ice cream too and after that we mounted our bikes again and took a different road back home. We passed through tiny villages by the name of Oosteinde, Haakswold and Blijdenstein. All in all we rode about 15 kilometers.
