Mexican Adventures 2007 - New people, new places, and putting voices with old faces.

Phoenix Travel Blog | Travelogue | Travel Journal

So here's the deal; I went down to Mexico to stay with people I'd never met or spoken to on the phone because I loved their couchsurfing profile, and to meet a Travbuddy friend I had never met or spoken to on the phone because I loved his blogs. Think I'm crazy yet? One of my best friends Ed did... he thought I was nuts. I tried to tell him he just had no sense of adventure - he said he DID have a sense of adventure, but that HIS was based in common sense. Here's the story - you decide.

Late Night Trip to the Airport...

An hour prior to leaving for the airport, I lost my passport.  Seeing how linked Andi and I are, I honestly thought I wouldn´t find it and would NOT be going on this trip.  I tried to stay calm and keep looking, but really I just wanted to be sick.  Finally, 10 minutes after I should have left, I found the passport and took off.  Everythingy went very smoothly after that, I caught the flight with loads of time to spare out of the exact same gate I left for Venice out of on Christmas day.....

I love my little shout out here! ;-)

THANK the travel gods and goddesses that you found it. I don't think I could have handled both of our trips being canceled.
