Last day in Vegas...

Elvis!

Thursday, already our last day in Vegas. And so much more to see! Today we went to the fancy site of the Strip. We started at The Venetian and were already tired when we got there but the airconditioning inside was a blessing. We walked in the Italian streets and i liked the of the gondolier singing Italian songs. I didn't like the smell of chlorine but that's part of the deal when you visit this hotel. We had some nice icecream at St Marks Square and after that we moved on to the neighbours, The Palazzo. Wow is the perfect word to describe this. There are only luxury shops so everything you see in here is very expensive. There's even a Ferrari dealer inside the hotel for those who are interested. Cars are not really my thing so i enjoyed the lobby with it's umbrella's.

The Ceasar's Palace Hotel
Special kind of lights make it seem like it's raining so that's a very nice effect. The casino is also very nice and even the restrooms were fancy here. But we're not here to sit in the restrooms. We moved on to The Wynn. Wow again. After a nice cup of coffee in a cafe with an outside terrace we went to the casino of this hotel to gamble. Yeah! We didn't do that before ( i know it's a shame) but the rest of the group don't like to gamble. I think you can't leave Vegas without having gambled so we played some roulette and won 30 dollars. Not a lot of money but at least we won! Even the ones who didn't like to gamble liked the fact that we won some money. We watched at the poker tables for a while and than walked to the other twin hotel of the Wynn: The Encore.
The Collosseum theatre of Ceasar's Palace
If it's possible, this hotel is even more beautiful than the Wynn. Very fancy, decorated in red with a lot of butterflies everywhere. The next time i'll visit Vegas, i'll book a room in this hotel (if i have the money!!). On the other side of the Strip we also visited the Treasure Island Hotel and The Mirage. Those hotels are nice too but you get spoiled a little after a few days in Vegas and those hotel aren't as spectacular as the ones we seen earlier this day so we didn't stay there long and decided to have dinner. We would visit a show again this evening at the Bellagio so we went there to have dinner. We found a mediterranean restaurant, Olives, which was quite good. We hurried a little because we didn't have much time. The Cirque du Soleil show 'O' started at 7:30 pm. Very spectacular. There's a pool made on stage and most acts are in the pool. Other acts are in the are and you just don't know where to look. I also liked the music of the show. I don't know if all the Cirque du Soleil shows are good, but this one is really nice!

Expensive Mediterranen Restaurant
The Olives restaurant is located in the stylish Bellagio Hotel. It has a Mediterranes cuisinie with a lot of strong tastes. Personally, i liked having dinner here but some othere who were with us didn't like all the dishes and they thought it was too dark in the restaurant. I thought it was stylish. So, it depends on what you like. The waiter was very helpful. We didn't knew some of the dishes and he explaned all of them to us. The wines were also really nice. I had had a nice evening here.
Spectacular show in the Bellaggio
Everybody knows Cirque du Soleil and many people have already visited a show. For me, this was the first time. I didn't know which so we should visit. I think there are 3 or for different Cirque du Soleil shows and i didn't know anybody who visited one of those. So i chose O without a reason. In this show, there's a pool on stage or actually in stage. The depth of this pool is changing all the time so accrobats can do different kind of acts in the pool. Not only in the pool, but also in the air you can see the accrobats performing a great show. It's really unique. The acts of the accrobats are succeeded by acts of two clowns, which is fun. Another thing i liked about the show is the beautiful music. One tip, if you decide to go here, don't get tickets for the first rows. You'll get wet here. Don't get tickets for the last rows either. You'll be sitting very far away from the theather and very high.
