Ok we start the road trip here

*Route 66 follows for the most part Highway 40.  Along the way I hopped off the highway and drove on the old Route 66.  As you can see from the pics lots of places still have the original signs.  I was able to get on and off of Route 66 about 10 times and drove for several hours on it.  As to getting from point A to point B the highway is better but for a little bit of scenery the old route was a nice change. . .
