I woke up early and went on a walk through town just to take a few pics before we hit the road. this place is really amazing and i am sad that we didn't get to spend more time here. it is so incredibly different than what i am use to in the states. it seems so poor to me but the people are so happy. i think that we all look at places like this and feel bad for the people because they don't have much, but to be honest i don't think that they really want much more than they have. they seem very happy and so care free about life. its funny because everything always took so long to get around here. anything from a beer to a dinner will take about 20 min to an hour to get. one time we had met a few girls from the states and one of them complained that it was taking too long to get service and the server replied with " live your life man, live your life" for some reason that makes so much sense to me. it is like we are always in such a rush and wanting things to happen so fast that we don't take time to live life. i think that some of us make more of an effort to get away and try to really live life but i think it is more of a day to day kinda thought. like, don't rush just be happy. this place is really amazing and i feel like in the short time i was here i changed a bit. one day i am going to come back and really find out what they meant buy " live your life man, live your life"
next stop, san jose... now how are we going to get there??
