Meeting Nanipu

Today I would have my second TravBuddy encounter.  Cherry (nanipu) was going to meet me, Julie (Pinchora) and Julie's friend Marie for some dinner.  We decided to meet at Ala Moana Mall since it is close to Cherry's work and a short walk for Julie and Marie.   Ala Moana Mall has a lot of different restaurants too, so finding a mutually acceptable place would be easy.  I arrived first and it didn't take long for Julie and Marie to show up.  Now we needed Cherry.  To pass the time we looked at the menus from a few nearby restaurants.

Here she comes, it's Cherry.  Aloha.  Aloha.  Hello.  Hello.  Let's go eat at Island Burger.  Okay.

We were seated and began chatting, or as they say in Hawaii, talking story.  When it came time to order, I was the only one to order a burger while the ladies had salads.  Ordering a burger made sense to me because we were at ISLAND BURGER!!!  Ha ha.  When the food arrived they were all jealous of my delicious burger.  Suckers!!!  Enjoy your salads.  They even considered ordering a burger and splitting it.  In the end they just stuck with their rabbit food.  

After dinner I gave Cherry a ride home.  I scared the crap out of her when I almost hit a car when exiting the freeway.  Ooops!!  Sorry, my fault.  I think Cherry's nerves were back to normal the next day.  hehehe.  Meeting number 2 - a success!!
