Aloha Roxane
April 7, 2009
Roxane (Rocko208) sent me a message saying she would be in town and would like to get together. Sure!! Sounds like fun. Roxane had been to Honolulu several times for work, but each time was only for a couple of days. She hadn't much of a chance to explore Honolulu. I thought it would be nice to go to Kincaid's, a fish, steak and chop house in the Ward Warehouse, not too far from Waikiki.
I drove down to Waikiki and picked up Roxane at her hotel. Aloha. Hello. Blah blah blah. We were at the restaurant in 10 minutes. We were seated by the window but a nearby building blocked the sunset :( It wasn't very crowded but it was only a Tuesday night. This place is popular on the weekends and especially during happy hour. Roxane was telling me about her job and her kids. As usual, I didn't have anything constructive to add to the conversation :p Our food arrived, ahi tuna for her and a steak for me, and everything was to our liking. When dinner was over I drove Roxane back to her hotel. She had a morning flight back to the mainland and needed to get some things together. Aloha!!!
