This morning i woke up at 07.45am. I was looking forward to a nice shower but all i got was cold water. I turned the knob in the wrong direction haha :-), it took me three days to realize that it was different than at home.
Today we planned to go Casa Mila (house build by Gaudi). We first went for a cup of coffee at Starbucks. Unfortunately it was Saturday and the long line to get in was huge. We changed our plans and decided to go to Mont Juic to visit the olympic village.
After that we decided to split up in two groups, the girls went shopping and we (Tamara, Lieke and me) went with the teleferic to the top of the mountain to visit the citadel. From above the view was great, you could see the whole city of Barcelona and the harbour.
After that we went back to the Ramblas to meet the others again. In the meantime we had a lunch at Subways. We tried to visit Casa Mila again but the line was still as long as that morning. We went back to Mont Juic and visited the National museum in the Castle. On Friday and Saturday evening the fountains go on from 07.00pm till 09.00pm. This is beautiful because the largest fountain dances on music and has some coloured lights included.
After the fountain show we had dinner in a little alley of the Ramblas, where we found a nice restaurant called La Botiga. We had some great Paella, Risotto and for me some steak.
At 11.45 pm we went to bed.
