Musings for the non-backpacker

I travel through my work and spend periods of 3-4 weeks living and working in some of the major cities around Europe and beyond. Prior to my own travels I used to look for reviews that would focus less on where the youth hostels are, and whether you can get your didgeridoo in hand luggage, and more on how to get to the hotel without being robbed, fleeced or kidnapped. There don't seem to be any so I thought I'd write my own. The picture on my profile is me on Ben Nevis last year.
