Day 33 – Miami – Orlando
September 12, 2007
It was a shame we didn't get to spend more time in Miami , although I think we saw all there is to see. Miami is basically a beach!
We arrived early at the greyhound station - as greyhound lived up to its standards of psychos as usual. We got talking to a woman - quite obviously a lesbian - who was telling us about how she had slept on the street that night and ranting about George Bush and how Miami it a sh*thole basically.
The bus ride was pretty uneventful. We slept most of the way. When we arrived inOrlando , we headed to the bus stop to get the 2 buses to our hostel. We somehow managed to let 2 busses bypass us before one pulled over.
The owner of the hostel really didn't seem to pleased to have us back. Maybe because of the state we left the room in. We were put in the same room that we had left and it had all been cleaned out. We were the only people in the room which was cool.
We went to target and got yet more photos developed and then back to the hostel to repack and scrap book. Since I thought we were the only people in the room, I managed to cover the whole floor with my scrapbooking things, so when someone came in at around 10pm, she was less than impressed.
The lady was Polish and there for a buisness conference about some sort of health drink or beans. She lectured us about healthy eating, etc as we sat and ate pringles.
I wanted to finish the book that I had been reading, and as Marta was leaving the following day, I stayed up to read it.
