Living in Germany gives us an opportunity to experience life in the EU. My wife works during the week and on weekends we like to visit a city within 3 hours drive from our house. This was one of our little weekend trips. Hope you enjoy the photos.

short weekend in Stuttgart
My wife and I decided to head out of town for a quick weekend away to discover another part of Germany. We choose Stuttgart because they were having a museum night where shuttles take people to a variety of museums from 7 pm to 2 am. It costs 14 euros and each museum has special entertainment and food.

We found the hotel on Venere.com and choose the location based on low cost, transportation and cleanliness. We drove and had to pay 6 euros/day to park in the underground garage. The hotel was right across from a train station and 6 stops from the central part of the city.
The room had one double bed and not much more. Like most rooms in Europe the space is limited and there is not much room to move around.
The price included breakfast in the main area of the hotel which also serves as the bar area when breakfast is finished. It was a good breakfast typical for Europe and served to fill us up for our final day of travel in Stuttgart. I would recommend this hotel because it was clean, safe, good price and convenient to major sites in the city.
