Austin, Awesome
April 15, 2009
A few shots of Austin. Many of these photos are from the various times
I have visted the city. I love to be able to take time to visit some of
the great sites, festivals and landmarks that make this city, AUSTIN!
As you can see, I travel around to some the more popular spots
including the the state capital and UT Austin. There was so much to do
and so little time to do it. Austin has to be my favorite city in
Texas. I promise, you will not be bored or stuck looking for something
to do or for something to eat. Take a moment to just look at some of
the few photos I and others have posted.
I hope to drop some reviews of some of the se places soon, but for now, I hope you enjoy what has been posted.
During this wonderful weekend, I got to meet up with David and we had a great time. I also did the Texas Hill Country Food and Wine Festival. This four day event celebrates food and wine from this area of Texas. There were wineries and restaurants from all over the country, which added a little flair to the event. This was the 24th year to celebrate food and wine in Austin, and the organiztion did not disapoint. Some of the events I attended included wine tastings at the Driskill Hotel, Swirling wine at a nice place in the arts district, enjoying food out at the Salt LIck in Driftwood with Sheena, and so much more.
The sites are always there so take some time to enjoy Austin. It is as big as it is small. Figure it out, you have a blast doing so.
