People live in Jakarta have several options to spend their weekend. Either go to mountains (Puncak, Gede, Pangrango), southeast direction from Jakarta, go to other cities nearby (Bogor, Bandung) or go to beaches (Carita, Anyer). This is the trip to go to the last option which is to the beach, Anyer beach. It took only 2 hours to get there. Since our home is on the west of west Jakarta, it is nearer to us to go there than if somebody who lives in downtown Jakarta. Probably, he/she needs another one hour to go through Jakarta's traffic jam.
The beach is located at Anyer, 38 km from Serang City. The beach is facing the West, so we can see the view of Mt.
There are popular tourism objects nearby Anyer beach, such as Karang bolong (A giant karst stone that has a hole in the middle. Karang=karst stone, bolong=hole) and an old lighthouse in Cikoneng that was erected in 1885 as a memorial building for the townspeople killed by the eruption of Krakatau which destroyed the whole town.We stayed in Sol Elite Marbella. We did a lot of fun: swimming at the pool, seeing the sunset, swimming at the beach, or just playing with the white sands there. The sands are nice, Raka loves to play with. Rara, on the other hand, is more interested playing with the board to surf, what it is called
Well, we enjoyed our trip here. Happy to look forward for the next time to spend weekend at this place again.
