Day trip to Karlstejn Castle

Karlstejn is a medieval castle Built by Charles IV in the 1300s, to safeguard the crown jewels of the Roman Empire.

My friend Josef decided to take me outside the city for the day and we drove approximatelly for an hour before getting to the town of Karlstejn. Pretty amazing.... Looks like a Disney castle on the top of a hill, surrounded by lush forrest and vineyards. When we got to the botton of the hill, there was a thunderstorm coming so there were clouds and that  pre-rain breeze that help to build the ambiance, just plain cool!

We spend the day around the beautiful small town, it  rain very hard for a couple of hours while we had an extended lunch. It was an unforgettable day.
