3 days in Fabulous Vienna.

I traveled by train from Graz to Vienna; the scenery is gorgeous, definitively a very enjoyable journey.

 Shortly before my arrival, I got a message from Roland, a Viennese TB,  letting me know that there was a Marathon going on in the city and the main streets in downtown, were my hotel is,  were close to thru traffic.

Sure enough my cab driver drop me off a few blocks from my hotel and pointed toward the direction I had to walk with my bags.

A bit sweaty and tired, I checked into Le Meridian hotel, located in downtown, on the Ring, a few steps from the State opera house. After taking a quick shower to prevent any unpleasant first impression I went down to the lobby to meet up with Roland, my second mini meet up with a TB. We had a great lunch and I got a first rate jump start tour of the city center. 

I had 3 amazing yet very short days to live the Vienna experience; definitively just a small sample of this city that left me wishing for more; and definitively I will be back for more, hopefully soon. I would describe the city as stunningly beautiful, lots of art and history and one of the things that makes Vienna unique is its musical heart, any where you walk there is some sort of musical theme going on.

 In addition to Roland, I also had the opportunity to meet up with Cedric (Romania) and Numa and his lovely wife Loretta (Lithuania). I am extremely thankful to all of them for sharing and enhancing my travel experience.
