Look out point
Humahuaca was a slight disappoint after the beautiful Tilcara. The town was really windy and with all the sand this made it very difficult to walk around.
The main highlight in the town is the church square which is beautiful and stairs next to it lead to a look out point. However this only takes 30 minute max so we were left with a lot of spare day to fill up.
While we were in the town there was no electricity past 7pm, this made it slightly difficult navigating the streets! Restuarants seemed to cope by using candle light which did give the place a romantic and spooky feel.
We stayed in a hostel near the main church square called Hostal Humahuaca which had nice friendly staff but was freezing at night due to lack of electricity.
