Sights in Punta Arenas

In Punta Arenas I stayed with a friend so I have little advice on what to do in terms of tourism and hostels there. Punta Arenas was a stop of place for me before travelling into Ushuaia, Argentina.

However if there is anyone visiting there I would recommend that you go and visit the cemetery as the tombs there are very dramatic. The trees are also very unusual as they have been imported from Switzerland. Also, anyone hoping to doing any shopping there should head to the Zona Franca. Its a tax free area where you can pick up a number of bargains.
