Beautiful Bonito
This is another place that wasnt on my agenda, but during my stay in the Pantanal a number of other travellers told me they were heading to Bonito. I decided to follow suit knowing that I could get a bus from here back down to Foz do Iguacu.
Bonito as a town isnt much to look at but its the day trips in the area which are the main selling points. I spent my time there with a group from the Pantanal. We didnt have so much time there so the trip we did wer ethe Rio Da Prata snorkling experience and the Lago Azul half day cave trip.
We booked both of these through the hostel Muito Bonito, http://www.muitobonito.com.br/pt/. The staff there were really helpful in getting everything sorted for us. We paid 125 Reais for the Rio Da Prata and 45 Reais for the Lago Azul, both including transport from the hostel.
