It's Friday: It's Happy Hour at La Cocina
The Music was really lousy!
The company however was delightful and we made the best of the evening. I live on the east side of town, so I had to drive all the way across town to find this rather hidden hide-out of a venue amongst sky rise buildings. Parking was hard to find since this is a business area and most parking is dedicated to specific businesses. The early birds had got the best parking spots, after about ten minutes of circling around the block, I finally found parking on the west side of the building . . .
The place was crowded by the time I got there, besides the meet up group, people who came to cheer on the band (looked like they were just starting out and the lead singer had nothing in terms of talent). The bar was open and food available at a give-away price. It did look tasty, but I had had my fill for the evening.
