At sushi bar Enishi

I'm already been in the site about 7years. I met a lot of people and one of my wish to see in person is Bearnard from France. I know he is not so active on the site right now but I always enjoyed his blog about cuisine especially I really loved his blog of cheese!! When I was learning French few years ago,he left me a comment in French...I'm sorry I couldn't get understand as my bad French:p haha Anyway,I really looking forward to seeing him in Osaka since he planed to visit Japan in this Nov.

Bernard gave me a few options for the day to meet,I would be free Wednesday day time and late night. To meet him at day time is good because I have time enough but since I heard he come to visit Osaka I wanted bring him to Tenma area at night.

Chef's skill
Tenma is very unique and local place in Osaka,probably travelers can't find there themself. This is why I like bringing foreigners there,also there are so many small restaurants and all of them are so great quality even a Japanese can enjoy there for sure! My friend Kanichi is quite knows about here as he has a lot of chances to meet people around there. Last time he brought us at the small restaurant called "Enishi". Enishi meaning "fate". This is authentic sushi bar...I said authentic though a little bit different. Because usually you do imagine eating sushi with soy sauce,but at this sushi bar you don't need use soy sauce because sushi already has tasty. Actually I don't like much soy sauce because it makes sushi as the same taste and when I saw foreigners eating sushi,they put soy sauce too much.
You have to take sushi hand to hand...:)
So I prefer to have this style of sushi,very sensitive and artistic.

However I didn't know that Bernard doesn't like sushi!!! Hahaha,never mind,I guess at least he would eat that sushi I wish! His wife loves sushi,I'm so glad to hear that! At the sushi restaurant,there is only corner table. It's nice to see chef's cooking skill! I was no dubt that Bernard is a cook! Because his cooking review are really awesome and know well. I asked him if he is a cook but he said no,he has a good cook :) anyway,he seems like curious watching cooking skill. I told the chef about he doesn't like sushi and bone. So I guess he will arrange for him. And yes,the chef made it so well I think...I wish Bernard loved them:) The chef made it very sensitive,for example sliced a squid for three then cut it.

How's it?
When I had it into my mouth it being like melt. Also taste with sesame and salt and citrus. Umm great experience. I could taste of the material not soy sauce! And they use brown rice for sushi. We ordered 5 pices at first then they added extra 5 pices. One time we have to take sushi with hand because Uni(sea urchin) is so softy as it fresh,the chef won't make it tight then let us pass hand to hand. At that moment I was laughed to see Bernard couple,because his wife taking his arm to get sushi by hand and Bernard look like hesitate get it by hand... So nice couple they are! We enjoyed at sushi bar and our short time meet-up is done. I was so happy to see old school TB friends!
