In a city garden in front of the apartment where we stayed
Basically, we did not have the chance to explore Hongkong. I think we need to have another trip just to see Hongkong. From what I read in the internet, it has a spectacular view from a kind of tower in downtown. Also, it has a gigantic Buddha statue and last but not least, it has a Disneyland, worth to visit for one or two days, just to please our two children.

This was the end of our journey Beijing-Hongkong. My mother in law had an appointment with another relatives of her which rarely came back home to Indonesia. It seemed that every Indonesian who started to live in this land having difficulties or maybe hesitation in returning back to our country. Well, it is their problem not mine. :)

We took our breakfast, again, in a nearby cafe. Maybe I have to put a notice about Chinese.
This does not mean anything to do with races discrimination or anything similar with that. Besides, my husband is also Chinese so I do not have any special point in making it as a races issue. What I want to share is that I had several bad experiences when interacted with Chinese. Either in Beijing, China mainland or in Hongkong. When I asked a question, the person responded by turning their faces into different direction. Also, when we wanted to buy strawberries from a traditional market nearby our hotel in Beijing, the seller slapped my mother in law's hand. We were so shocked by the way the seller did to her. He was angry and said something we did not know. Later, we realize that it was a notice from the seller that he did not want us to choose which strawberries that good enough to be bought.

Unlike in Indonesia when we even can try one of the fruits before we buy it, and of course we can choose which ones we want to take. In Beijing, they did not allow us to do the selection. But, they did it in a harsh way.

I had also the same experience in Hongkong. When I was in a line at the counter to order breakfast for the whole members of our group, it turned out that some meals are out of supply. Without giving any second for me to response, the lady behind the counter instantly waggled her hand in front of me, in a rude way, and say "step aside! step aside!" repeatedly to me, as if I am a begglar with leprosy all over my body and she is afraid of getting infected by the disease. In my opinion, at least she can politely ask me if I want something else to eat, which is a common procedure for this kind of situation all over the world.

Or she can take care the rest of meals I ordered which were still available while I read the menu card to order something else for the meals that they ran out at the moment.

Well, to make the story short, finally we got something to eat there. Finished with breakfast, we took a walk to a garden that was located in front of our apartment. We just realized that next to our apartment, there was a harbour with some yachts parked along the side and the view must be pretty at night.

Then, the time to go to airport came. We packed our luggages to the minivan that was provided by the owner of the apartment. Previously, we booked it to serve us going back to airport. So, no more trains needed for that.

The view along the way to go to the airport was nice. The driver, which was the owner of the apartment (an Indonesian who stayed for years in Hongkong), explained a lot about everything we passed by. Pretty satisfied, I thought I will use his service again when I want to stay in Hongkong next time. So, we came to the end of this trip and this is the last word of my blog: period.
