Daytryp
I have 2 days for spending in Thailand so I decide to took a daytryp to Kanchanaburi:
River Kwai
Kanchanaburi is like 100 or 200 Km away from Bangkok, That means 2h30m of driving, at least.
It's a kind of cultural visit, to see the famous bridge over the river Kwai, and also the 2nd World War Cementery, I found it so much touristic, the museum is so crapy, avoid it, like to took the train, cross the river by yourself
River rafting
The next steep it was a kind of bamboo rafting and eat at the river so simple Thai food, was ok, but nothing special. There I talk with my lil guide and ask her to chnage elephant and train to go to the Tiger Temple...no problem but I will have to pay the entrance fee at the Temple, 500 Baht :p
Water Falls
Next stop was A kind of falls, really nice, and funny coz we could see many people falling to the ground or water, but we only stay like 15 minutes, so I didn't take a bath.
Elephant riding
The elephant riding was Ok, my elephant mates were two Swizerland secretaries (Zurich) that came for the Ful Moon Party, nice gals, but I have took an Elephant months ago, so not interesting
Tiger temple
Reaching the Temple was so complicate, they left me in the middle of the road :p with a kind of guide (not english speaking) and we have been waiting like 30 minutes under the noon sun, with lots of flyes, OMG was extremely hot! Finally an other van, catch me and drive me to the Temple.
On this Temple you can see a lot of animals in freedom: Bufalos, cows, chickens, Tigers...
First stop, the Tiger canyon were they took you mnay pics of you with a tiger, once I finish I notice that I didn't look at the camera in all of the pics :p so I did it agin, but this time looking at the camera ;)
Second stop, going to see the baby Tigers! On the way I found many bufalos and arround me, I took a pic with one and suddently the main bufalo look at me AND HIT ME!! Thanx to good he didn't want to hurt me, I think that the problem was that I was between a mum and her child.
What happens with me? Animals attack me twice in this tryp! The youg tiger was softer that Big tigers, but also fun.
The temple was in the middle of the reservoir, it's quite simple, but ok.
About this place is crazy the amount of volunteers that work there, a lot of people of all over the world.
We depart from the Temple a little bit late, on the way back to Bangkok, my mate was a Colombian guy that have been traveling solo like 4 or 5 months and also will be traveling 2 or 3 more. So once I arrive to Bangkok I went so quick to the hotel for taking a shower and to the CABARET!!!
