The Summary
I have been told that Schweinfurt translates to "pig crossing". They eat alot of pork in Schweinfurt. Maybe this is the reason they decided to honor these tasty animals. Spread out over the city you will find 2 meter high, fiberglass statues of pigs. The themes are a reflection of their sponsors. The total number remains a mystery.
