After we made it to the lake, we just kicked back and watched the festivities. For the snowboarding, they actually brought in a truckload and dumped it out, spread it on this ramp and then the few brave went down it, many times falling onto the concrete where the snow ended and getting scraped.
An after party was arranged to celebrate later, so we left the lake and headed back to the hostel to get ready for that. I don't know why, but I decided to be the party coordinator last night. I was inviting everyone in the hostel to go and as it turned out, I was in charge of about 20-25 people from our hostel, navigating us on the public transport to the club on Margrit Island. It was pretty fun. We all brought beers along with us as you can drink pretty anywhere, including on the public transportation. Everyone was very thankful that I was organizing the chaos that it was, but it was also stressing me out, so I told everyone which bus to take back and tried to have fun when we got there. We did some dancing, drinking, the usual, but by about 3 a.m. one of the hostel guys said he was ready to go, so we both jumped on a bus and made it back in time for me to get to bed by 4 a.m. Pretty much the entire hostel is hung over, save for the new arrivals. Now I'm contemplating whether to join the Irish lads at an Irish Pub to watch a soccer match between Dublin and Kerry. We'll see what this day will bring I guess.
