No more buses!

I'm taking my wanderlust to a new level by shedding everything familiar and safe and hitting the road with a one way ticket and lots of guts. I start in Ireland, with planned stops in E. Europe before arriving in Egypt, then onto Tanzania for a Mt. Kili climb/safari before arriving in Zanzibar. From there, S. Africa, India, SE Asia, Australia/NZ, and eventually S. America. Afterward skidding home on fumes of glory, whereupon I will quickly be couch-surfing until I can land on my feet again.

No more buses!

For some reason I thought it a good idea to book a 12 hour tour of the Highlands yesterday followed by an 11-hour bus ride to London today.  Yikes!  I am exhausted from sitting on my arse.

Yesterday was beautiful...traveled all through the Highlands and learned a lot from our guide.  I ended up chilling over a beer, gazing on Loch Ness toward the day's end.  Lots of beautiful scenery.  I'll upload photos tomorrow.

In the meantime, I made it to London and I'm just trying to catch my breath.  Lots of activity...I ended up helping some folks find their way through the underground even though I was pretty lost myself.  I found my hostel though and I'm just going to go sit outside and enjoy the fact it is NOT raining.  More later.
