Philosophers' Stroll

Did the Philosophers' Stroll, from the Frommer's guide book on Japan. Started off at Ginkakuji - Temple of the Silver Pavilion.

The pavilion is currently undergoing restoration and should be open again fully in 2010. It cost 500Y to get in and walk around the grounds.

Then walked down the Philosophers' Pathway to the Eikando Temple, then on to Nanzenji Temple. After these temples I decided to deviate from the book and make my own way back to the Heian Shrine.
