The start of brand new adventure, were I'm going to be in a swordfish fishing ship for 2 months!

A stop over

So I've arrived this early morning to Cape Verde island of Sal, and got into a transfer for the hotel in Santa Maria. the most turistic part of Sal. I've found out that this is a place dedicated to the turist, not much local culture here. This is a great place for someone that wnats to go to the beach all day long and disconnect from the world. I've enjoyed a nice 4 km walk on the beach, found out tons of french, italians, germans and english people around here. For me it lacks life but for the resort kind of turist this is a great place to come.

Fortunately this afternoon I'l be off to São Vicente were I'll be meeting my boss so I can start my adventure aboard a commercial fishing and do some proper marine research!
