After lunch, I went back to the hotel and said goodbye to the reunion. My husband and I had to do a little sight-seeing of our own. So we went to the National Cathedral (since I was reading the newest Dan Brown book "Lost Symbol", which took place in DC and had some scenes in the National Cathedral, but I didn't find the Darth Vadar in the stained glass windows, there were just too many windows!) and then the Arlington National Cemetery since I always wanted to visit it and never had before.
In the evening, we drove out to Potomac to visit the home of one of my friends (and classmate from junior high, and high school) Isabel, with a few other friends, and we had dinner at a Chinese restaurant nearby.
