Day 2 - Great... I overslept!

And I had so many plans for today...
As breakfast buffet is from 7am to 10am at the City Garden hotel, I went out to have a coffee and a donut at the Starbucks opposite Fortress Hill MTR station.
Starbucks offers 20 minutes of complimentary WiFi Internet, so I took the chance to check my mails. While sitting there, it started raining. Really heavy rain, that is.
I waited for the rain to stop for like half an hour... but no way, the rain kept falling. So I decided to go shopping to IFC mall by MTR and wait until rain stopped.
IFC mall has - like most of Hong Kong Island's bigger shopping malls - direct access to a MTR station. So you don't have to care about how hot, cold or wet it is outside.
Somehow I managed to stay there the rest of the afternoon.
Later that day, I met with my friend again for dinner. We took the ferry to Kowloon and had dinner at a nice Arirang Korean restaurant in Harbour Plaza. Korean BBQ is the best! It's so much fun to broil your own food at the table, and it's soooo delicious!
After dinner, we went to see the night market on Temple Street, walked through the Ladies Market on Tung Choi Street. Quite nice... if it weren't for the guys trying to sell you fake Rolex watches everywhere...
Late in the evening, we took a bus back to the ferry pier and had a nice night view of the Hong Kong Island skyline. Too bad I didn't bring the tripod for my camera, shooting photos at night just out of the hand doesn't give you decent image quality.
Conclusion of Day 2: Wow, still an amazing city! I should have come here much earlier!
