My 2005 deployment

2005 What a year!  Rushed through Flight Engineer school and training, my first solo flight....IN COMBAT!  Four months in the desert heat and sand moving people and cargo, this this is when and where I grew up.  I saw people, places, and things, and I even had my life pass before my eyes.  I never knew what hot was till I deployed to the Middle East.  This was hell on earth, but oddly some of the best times of my life....
