A view of Turks & Caicos from the plane

After my 10days stay in Panama City, Florida I flew to Chicago and then to Turks & Caicos

One of my days here went like this. I had the ride of my life today. We went to Iguana Island. We took off on this motor boat 27 of us (all from the same family. Only 3 out of the 27 are my direct family). The Sea was amazing. The water was greenish blue and then turned to purplish blue and it was amazing. We sped off in the boat to somewhere far off and then at 12 feet he stopped the boat and we went cog hunting at the floor of the sea.

I could not get to the bottom of the sea but I got to 8 feet. It was amazing. Then we got on the boat and went to this other place in the ocean and went snorkeling. We wore these masks with tubes in them and went under water and fed the fish and saw the fish it was an experience of a lifetime. After that we were supposed to head off to Iguana Island to have a barbeque lunch. We were on our way when one of the engines smoked and one stopped working. After that we tried with one engine and kept going in circles. Then it started raining. We were calling for rescue boats and this and that and ...nothing!!! Then it stopped raining so we got into the water again and found out that another boat was on the way. Two smaller motor boats came in 20 minutes and picked us up and took us to the island. We had a nice time in the sun and now I am all sun burnt and bruised. We had a nice barbeque lunch and then when we were ready to leave it started raining again.

All the older people and people with small babies left on one boat and the cool young crowd on the other boat. It was raining cats and dog!!! There was thunder and lightning. We are on a much smaller boat and were tossed around on the on the waves and it was cold. I was already sun burnt and then the salt water and the rain and sand was making this worse. We were laughing at the whole situation...... Then we lost sight of the other boat so we radioed the station and found the other boat and made them follow us. After a while we lost the other boat again and we made our way to the marine dock instead of the hotel.....there we changed the 4 kids that were with us and squeezed out all the towels and got back on the boat and headed back to the hotel we were staying at “The Beaches”. On our way back the storm had cleared and there was a beautiful rainbow and we saw or hotel in the distance and it was amazing. We got back laughing. We are supposed to be back at 3pm and got back at 6pm instead. We got ready fast coz there was this reggae dance class. So we went and we learnt these amazing dance steps and they played different music and we danced with it and it was amazing.  This is a holiday I will never forget.
