Will we meet a troll?

Trollstiegen
Today we made a short trip to the home of many Norwegian trolls or rather to the place, where these often grumpy but also shy and quite popular creatures were supposed to live - we went off to the stunning Trollstiegen, which is an enormous mountain wall near Andalsnes.

After we had crept up the narrow and twisty Troll Road we stopped at the top of the mountain, where we were astonished by the effective impression of the region called Trollstiegen.
It was a pity but we didn't spot any troll at all! Maybe there were too many curious tourists around because not even a cheeky troll kiddy came along the way ...

Then we went further to the well-known Geiragner Fjord that offered a great view as well and after our lunch, passing more mountains and strolling through town in the city of Sogndal we made ourselves at home in a nice youth hostel.
