Family grave
Our day trip brought us to Gimsöy, where we walked around a local graveyard and found an interesting family grave near the sea: a fisherman family had lost the father and two of three young sons in an accident and then the youngest son, who had survieved this storm, has died as elderly man many years later.
So, you could say that it had been the youngest son’s destiny to live the life also for his father and brothers.

After this short stop we had a joyful time on the beach thanks to lovely summery weather and water clear as crystal.

Besides we took a closer look at the local fish industry that is an absolutely important regional main pillar. Heaps of wooden frames with countless cod that is drying belong to the picturesque coast like blue waves and big rocks.
