Crossing the border

Today we made a short trip to Finland, the country with a beautiful landscape that is known for heaps of wonderful lakes and green forests.

We drove along the River Torneälv, which forms the natural border between Sweden and Finland, where we stopped and took a bite of lunch, which we cooked with the help of our camping equipment.

Besides we crossed the Arctic Circle – no doubt, we were going more and more towards north.

A couple of hours later we were welcomed on a neat campsite in the town of Muonio, where we would stay overnight. Our bungalow was homely arranged and really comfortable and the view from the living room was truly amazing.
