9 day trip to Japan and China, with two old friends and one new one. Temples, Gardens, Palaces, Pandas, Hiking the Great Wall, Sunrise over Tiananmen Square, Getting lost in the Forbidden City (And Beijing Zoo!) Haggling with street vendors, robbed for 5 minutes, counterfeit money, blisters, hot tubs, a hooker, 3 dead ducks and one live fish...details to follow!

On to China!

Mr Happy Omelette Guy!

Friday, April 20th. Our flight to Beijing was at 10:55, so we got up early enough to have one last buffet breakfast at the New Otani Hotel. Mr. Happy Omelette Guy did not disappoint! We felt a little rushed, because we had a bus to catch. I took a few last pictures from the breakfast restaurant (on the top floor) and we headed out. We had packed the night before, so we just grabbed our stuff, checked out, and caught the shuttle bus from the hotel back to Narita airport. We had bought our bus tickets in advance, and got there with 5 minutes to spare. We were on our way! I had hoped to get a picture of Rainbow Bridge at night, over Tokyo Bay, but we never made it down that far. I settled for a day shot of it, taken from the bus just before we drove over it. Got to the airport, cleared security, and before you knew it, we were on our way to China!
