The journey to Niagara Falls!
March 29, 2009
Next morning in Toronto it was raining, so we couldn't really do much. Fortunately the weather was beautiful by the time we went to the Niagara Falls (1:30 PM). The tour guide was a very funny and friendly german lady. I went to the tour joined by a college from work, but unfortunately the rest of the company wasn't good at all. It was four turkish guys dressed in italian mafia style, like taken from the Godfather movie. They wouldn't smile or even look at you. Later we found that they didn't speak english... but anyway, their presence was kinda scary! There was also a greek couple, but they wouldn't talk much either.
First we went to a wine tasting and I had the chance to try some of the canadian ice wine... it was really good! Then we arrived to the falls. What can I say... simply awesome! Specially the horseshoe waterfall is so incredible. We also had the chance to go to the journey behind the falls, where u can take pictures from closer.
People always say that the view from the canadian side is a lot better than the american side, but I wonder how can there be any view from the american side at all... bot falls american and canadian face the canadian side...
Anyway, I hope u enjoy the picts!
