Wandering Around NYC

After lunch in Chinatown, we wandered around a few areas of New York City.  We walked through Little Italy, Soho, Greenich Village, and ultimately we landed at the Macy's on 34th Street.  Dana suggested we go inside and check out the old part of Macy's which had old wooden escalators.  We said our goodbyes to Dana there as she headed back on the train to head back to Jersey to spend some time with her honey.

Brett and I headed back towards our hotel and stopped by Grand Central Station to get a Junior's Cheesecake.  I had been wanting to try Juniors after it was featured on a recent Food Network episode of Bobby Flay's Throwdown.

We then went next door to our hotel to relax a bit and then headed off to Times Square to see the lights at night.  After that, we tried to find a deli to get take out from with a bottle of wine but no such luck.  Eventually we ended up going to a deli near our hotel for a Turkey and Brie sandwich as it was pretty late at night.

Hard to believe it's already time to leave NYC in the morning!
