cities so we took Interestate 5 that is a lot faster then Route 101, but for sure less pretty, I was
able to go bettween 80 and 90 miles per hour with no problems whatsoever, just slowing on towns.
On the border we went to the Duty Free Shop and bought many bargains... from clothes, lotions, wines, watches... etc, it's a great place to shop.
On the border the US custums officials made a lot of checking on us, a lot more than they normaly make in Tijuana, I guess they are not used to see many mexicans up there, so one official found some seeds that we bought in San Francisco and took them away from us, we explained that were good from the stomach and that the seeds were american, so we laught a lot from that.
Oregon was really, really pretty many mountains and woods, not many big cities besides Portland, so right on the mountains we saw this pretty rest area, and just walking around found a pretty river, and decided again to swim :D, just this time we we not so lucky as in California, because the water was really cold, but we had lots of fun. Also on that rest area i was able to get on line and to see an open air museum about the native indians there and their history, struggles and wars.
Also we found a regional restaurant and I had a super breakfast like never seen before, check out the picture, hehehe....
