french and german coexist

I wasn't planning to go to Fribourg but my flatmate was going so I decided to join her

Fribourg is about 2.5 hours from Geneva. It's a mediaval city but has a funky feel to it...probably because of all the students.

Also some of the shops in Fribourg were very unique and artsy. I enjoyed walking around the city and also the old bridge..resembles the one in Luzerne but smaller.

I really liked the ice cream there...it's the best I've tasted in Switzerland.
