They said it's heaven for fish and corals. They said it's the underwater amazon. They said it's the hidden paradise on earth. They all say it's in Raja Ampat! So here I go, wanting to prove all that. 6 days Live On Board, 16 dives, 9 participants, 9 crews, one big story...

About the photos: This just a big picture of what I saw in Raja Ampat - the creatures and corals

About the dive:
Raja Ampat basically devided in two big areas: The north and south of Raja Ampat.
And we'll going to dive in the north of Raja Ampat.
In the north Raja Ampat, there are two big area, which is:

- Mansuar: the highlight of this area is the abundant of fish species and pelagic (big fish). If you're an underwater photographer you could use wide angle lens. The favorite dive spot in this area is in Cape Kri.

- Fam:
Its highlight is in the big and colorful reef corals. There are soo many beautiful corals, still in perfect shape, and usually there're also live beautiful little sea creature like pygmi and nudibranch. Use macro lens for taking picture.

For the 1st day dives: Mansuar area

Dive 1: Matan Reef

Visibility: 15 meters
Water temperature: 28 celcius

Your personal floating hotel
When I went to Raja Ampat and live on board for 6 days, I'm using one of the Grand Komodo's vessels.

They have 6 vessels that you can rent for live on board tours and dive. And I'm using the MV Putri Papua.

All I can say about the Grand Komodo's service is that they are EXCELLENT!
From the arrangement of the tours, they'll guide you all the way. They will accomodate your needs. And from the first time I step into the boat, I just knew that they all giving their best to us. The crew ship welcome us with smile and hospitality. Always ask us if we need any help. They all very friendly and I personally become friends with them. They are our family for the 6 days touring.

And about the vessel, MV Putri Papua...
It has 4 cabins for 9 persons. Each cabin has air con and shower. The ship and all things in it are very clean! excellent!!
It has 9 crews: 1 captain, 2 dive guides, 1 chef, 1 waiter, 1 boat man, 2 engineers, and 1 tank man. They all very handy

I heart all their service, I miss the crews, I miss the ship...really want to live on board using Grand Komodo again!
