we woke up early, rode a bus, or is it a really big jeepney at a local station. the trip was a rough 2 hour ride. we were packed. so many local people as well as foreigners. the scene going there was a sight to behold. and it kept us awake all throughout.
When we reached Sabang Port, we waited for about an hour for our ferry. there are lot of people waiting to go through, but everything went smoothly because of the people organizing the trips. They were very friendly but were able to command lots of tourists with ease.
Ialmost jumped from our ferry when we reached the shore, a little walk to the rainforrest and emerged was this stunning opening of the underground cave...there were playful monkeys all over the place, while waiting for our boat ride we just shot more pictures as possible. the boat ride took us for about 45 minutes. Honestly though, i felt kinda creepy. Inside was really dark although there was light to lead every boat. I guess it wasn't just my thing...i'm so glad when were able to go out, hahaha. there was even a giant monitor lizard swimming behind our boat. i also took some pictures and at the same time play at some tadpole looking fish jumping at the shore. when we got back the port, all i wanted was to take a dip at the pristine waters, but we have to go because the boat guys said that we have to go back to the port.. so we went back sitll satisfied with the amazing trip. and to cap our Sabang journey, we ate halo halo to freshen up a scorching late afternoon...
